The course will cover identifying affective and cognitive factors that influence decision making in not only others but your own personal and professional life. At course’s completion you will have the skills and ability to not only critically analyze and evaluate decisions before, during, and after making them for yourself but also have these tools to guide others you may mentor in self-improvement. Tools will include improving focus and concentration, time management, substituting bad habits with good ones, deliberate practice, and dumping old beliefs. Rationales for “falling off the wagon,” “harsh inner critic syndrome”, “defeatist attitude”, “hazards in goal setting” and “procrastination” will be addressed and solutions shared.
