Impartiality
- ICBDM understands that being impartial/unbiased, and being perceived to be impartial is important to carry out its certification activities, maintain the professionalism, and credibility of its certification process, and provide confidence to the public.
- It is the objective of ICBDM to ensure that impartiality is maintained as an integral part of the certification process. Staff, volunteers and subject matter experts involved with certification activities are required to act in an impartial manner and disclose any interests that violate our conflict of interest policy. All possible threats to impartiality or violations of Xenanex’s conflict of interest policy shall be investigated.
